Server Rules
Our rules exist to ensure everyone has a great time. Please read them carefully and follow them to keep Tropical MC a welcoming place.

Treat others as you would like to be treated. If something feels wrong, it probably is. When in doubt, ask staff.
General Rules

Respect All Players
Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes in-game chat, Discord, and any other Tropical MC platforms.
No Cheating or Hacking
The use of hacked clients, mods that provide unfair advantages, or exploits is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to x-ray, fly hacks, kill aura, and auto-clickers.
No Advertising
Do not advertise other servers, websites, or social media unless explicitly allowed. Sharing links in public chat is prohibited.
Keep Chat Appropriate
Keep all communication family-friendly. Excessive swearing, inappropriate content, and spamming are not allowed. This includes signs, books, and builds.
English in Global Chat
Please use English in global chat channels so staff can moderate effectively. Other languages are welcome in private messages or designated language channels.
Gameplay Rules
5 rules
No Griefing
Destroying, modifying, or stealing from other players' builds or items without permission is prohibited, even in unclaimed areas. Respect other players' work.
Claim Your Builds
Use the claiming system to protect your builds. While griefing is against the rules, unclaimed builds may be at higher risk. Staff may not be able to restore unclaimed builds.
No Lag Machines
Any builds or contraptions designed to cause server lag are prohibited. This includes excessive redstone clocks, entity farms, and large-scale automation without approval.
Appropriate Builds Only
Offensive, inappropriate, or hateful builds are not allowed. This includes symbols, text, or structures that could be considered offensive to any group.
Fair Trading
Scamming other players is strictly prohibited. Honor all trades and agreements. Report any scam attempts to staff immediately.
Community Rules

Be a Good Neighbor
Respect other players' space and builds. Do not build too close to others without permission. Keep the world looking nice for everyone.
Help New Players
We encourage experienced players to help newcomers. A friendly community makes Tropical MC special. Share knowledge, not exploits.
Report Issues Properly
Use the proper channels to report bugs, players, or issues. Do not publicly accuse players. Let staff handle investigations.
Participate Positively
Join events, contribute to community builds, and engage positively. Negativity and toxic behavior bring everyone down.
Economy Rules
4 rules
No Real Money Trading
Selling in-game items, currency, or accounts for real money is prohibited. All transactions must use in-game currency only.
No Market Manipulation
Artificially inflating or deflating prices through coordinated actions is prohibited. Fair market practices must be maintained.
Report Dupes
If you discover any duplication glitches, report them immediately to staff. Exploiting duplication bugs will result in severe punishment.
Honest Shop Practices
Shop signs must accurately describe what is being sold. Misleading or deceptive shop practices are considered scamming.

- Extended Ban (7-30 days)
- Permanent Mute
- Economy Wipe
Critical
- Permanent Ban
- IP Ban
- Discord Ban
Important Notes
- Staff have final say in all rule interpretations and punishments.
- Severe offenses may result in immediate permanent bans without warning.
- Appeals can be submitted through Discord. Decisions are final.
- Rules may be updated at any time. Ignorance is not an excuse.
